SFCC music faculty to present free recital

The State Fair Community College Music Arts faculty will present a recital at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 24 in the Stauffacher Theatre in the Stauffacher Center for the Fine Arts on the Sedalia campus. Admission is free.

Featured will be adjunct voice instructors Sandra Cordes and Kevin Holbert, adjunct piano instructor Cynthia Groff, music theory instructor Dr. Mike Groves, and SFCC Music Arts Coordinator Ron Sayer.

Each will present several selections in their major performance areas. Music will range from solo classical literature to Broadway tunes and other contemporary selections. Grove has composed a piece for two pianos that will be premiered by Groff and Sayer.
