DESCRIPTION:The children’s concert will feature the beloved musical story “Peter and the Wolf” by Sergei Prokofiev. the work tells of the capricious boy Peter\, who is told by his grandfather not to leave the house because of the wolf lurking in the woods…but Peter leaves anyway and with the assistance of his friends\, the duck\, bird and cat\, he manages to help capture the wolf..but not without some mishap adventures along the way! The concert will also feature another Russian favorite by Modest Mussorgsky\, and the Overture to the “Barber of Seville”. Once again\, children will get to place their names in a drawing to conduct the orchestra in a piece specially arranged for the concert.
