Liberty Park Easter Egg Hunt
Liberty Park Easter Egg Hunt
The Sedalia Parks and Recreation office will again sponsor the annual Easter egg hunt on April 9, 2022 at 10 a.m. for children ages 1 to 10 years old. This free events has designated areas for each age to compete in the hunt for hundreds of eggs. A pets soon from Thorni Ridge Exotics will also be there for after the hunt.

Paws in the Park Dog Bone Hunt
Calling all dog owners! Give your pooch a chance to find a dog bone treat at the free egg hunt for dogs at 6 p.m. Monday, April 11 at the Clover Dell dog park. All dogs must be up to date on their shots, friendly towards other dogs, and on a leash. Dogs line up at 5:55 and the horn sounds at 6 for the hunt. Free but donations of trash bags, laundry soap, paper towels and bleach are appreciated.

A fabulously fun award-winning musical based on the adored film, Legally Blonde The Musical, follows the transformation of Elle Woods when her life is turned upside down after her boyfriend dumps her to attend Harvard Law. Determined to win him back, she ingeniously charms her way into the school where she struggles with her peers and professors. With the support of new friends, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.

SFCC Ag Club to hold Tractor Cruise April 30
State Fair Community College’s Ag Club will hold its first Tractor Cruise fundraiser on Saturday, April 30, with a round trip starting at the Sedalia campus to Green Ridge. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. Drivers will meet at 9 a.m., and the cruise will begin at 9:30 a.m. Cost is $30 and $15 for FFA members. Lunch will be provided. Tractors have a minimum 10 mph requirement, and drivers must hold valid driver’s license. No duals, implements or trailers allowed. Registration will take place the day of the event. The club accepts cash or checks only. Proceeds will be used to buy equipment and supplies for the Ag Club and to fund educational trips.
