Eric is a longtime cast member of Symphony Space’s Thalia Follies and was also part of the arts collective and accompanying podcast\, In Your Face-New York. Additionally\, he is an active performing member of the Yip Harburg Foundation. Eric’s most recent role was as Govan Mbeki in the workshop showcase of Mandela the Musical\, performed at New York City’s Lincoln Center. DESCRIPTION:Enjoy an elegant evening out for adults and a wonderful addition to your Holiday traditions as former Sedalian\, Eric Poindexter comes to the Liberty Center for this benefit concert. \nEric Poindexter is an NYC-based actor\, singer\, and teaching artist who has lived in New York for more than 20 years. He has starred in regional productions including Big River\, The Color Purple\, and the Off-Broadway production of The History of War. Eric is a longtime cast member of Symphony Space’s Thalia Follies and was also part of the arts collective and accompanying podcast\, In Your Face-New York. Additionally\, he is an active performing member of the Yip Harburg Foundation. Eric’s most recent role was as Govan Mbeki in the workshop showcase of Mandela the Musical\, performed at New York City’s Lincoln Center. He is excited to be back in his hometown and honored to perform at the Liberty Center. \nTicket includes a dessert and a soft drink at the reception after the show..
