FESTIVAL ATTRACTIONS
The kites of Great American Kites & Events will take flight with awe-inspiring mega kites, power kites, stunt kites, and more! We will have 22 hot air balloons for an amazing glow.

SAFETY
The Sedalia Chamber asks, for the safety of our festivalgoers, that guests do not bring pets, glass, alcohol, as well as no smoking on the premises at the Hot Air Balloon & Kite Festival.
PARKING
We will have ample parking for the Hot Air Balloon & Kite Festival guests. Parking will be available on the Missouri State Fair Grounds Camping Site Gate 6 & Gate 6A. There will also be parking at the State Fair Community College campus.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?
No, we do not allow pets at the event. Service animals only!
IS THERE A RAIN DATE?
Sedalia Chamber Hot Air Balloon & Kite Festival will go on as planned in slightly inclement weather; however, in the case of severe weather where thunder and lightning are present, the festival will be canceled.
ARE THERE CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES?
The festival is very child friendly. There is a dedicated children’s activity area with face painting, balloonist, and photo opportunities and more!
WHO BENEFITS FROM THE SEDALIA CHAMBER HOT AIR BALLOON & KITE FESTIVAL?
Proceeds go towards keeping the festival as a free community event.
WHAT IS SEDALIA CHAMBER HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL?
The Sedalia Chamber Hot Air Balloon Festival is an annual festival on the Missouri State Fairgrounds. This is a free community event for all Sedalia Pettis County and surrounding communities to enjoy.
IS THERE A COST TO ATTEND?
No – attendance is free! We’re thrilled to welcome sponsors allowed us to bring this FREE event to the community and continue the free, family fun. Food and drinks are available from on-site vendors.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
There is plenty of parking available on the Missouri State Fairgrounds camping grounds:

- State Fair Community College Parking off of Clarendon Road
WHAT IS THE SEDALIA CHAMBER HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL RULES?
Glass, pets, alcohol, and grills are not permitted. We have several fantastic food vendors on site. We ask that you do not circulate petitions, solicit, or hand out flyers at the event. Our sponsors and vendors pay to advertise at the event and it would be unfair to them to offer free space to others.
