The Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) located inside the Sedalia Katy Depot is a non-profit economic development agency responsible for competitively marketing the Sedalia area as a destination for leisure travelers, tour groups, and conventions. The CVB is a true collaboration formed through a partnership between the City of Sedalia and the Chamber of Commerce to further the economic viability of tourism in the Sedalia region. The CVB works to secure marketing funds through the Sedalia Area Tourism Commission and the Cooperative Marketing Program of the Missouri Division of Tourism.
