Downtown Warsaw is an antique and specialty shopper’s delight. Located just off the downtown area of Warsaw, the harbor is a wonderful place to take a walk and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. With public docks and boat launches, it is the perfect place to catch a fish or start your boating day on the Upper Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks.
It is located at the Harry S. Truman Visitor’s Center. Mr. Elmore worked for the Corp. of Engineers and wanted to make sure the history was handed down for generations to come, thus Heritage Days were born.

The house was moved from a farm that is now covered by Truman Lake. The Corp of Engineers reconstructed the home and it is now on display just below the Visitor’s Center.
Located on 7 highway on the east edge of town. The bridge spans the beautiful Osage River and is irresistible for a leisurely walk across.
A major area attraction, Shawnee Bend boasts challenges that cannot compare with other courses. The beautiful view of Truman Lake and Visitors Center from various fairways and greens are distracting enough to add strokes to any game.

The Visitor’s center sits high up on Kaysinger Bluff overlooking the dam. The view from the huge glass front is nothing short of breathtaking! The center is also host to some of Benton County’s richest history including replica’s of ancient mastodon bones found in a dig South of Warsaw before the reservoir was filled.

Offering beautiful trails, scenic views, designed for riders of all ages and skill. The park offers scenic downhills, challenging climbs and sweet single track.
Warsaw sits directly on the Upper Osage Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks. This is the “Quiet End” -don’t expect the rat race you might find in other places.
