On June 18th, there will be a Juneteenth Celebration held at Hubbard Park. Opening ceremony begins at 2:45. There will many activities to take part in including: a basketball and soccer tournament, watermelon and donut eating contests, a cake walk, a crowning of King and Queen Juneteenth as well as Prince and Princess. A 50" television will be raffled off. There will be a d.j., live band and food vendors and a V.A. Benefits table will be set up for veterans. Official hours for the event are from 2:45 to 7 pm.
